Sound Recordings is a 100% analogue recording studio and a not-for-profit record label. Sound Recordings are made by hand and electricity.
Sound Recordings aim to make producing (and owning) physical records more accessible, affordable and sustainable.
Sound Recordings cost only what they cost to produce (pressing and postage). Neither the label nor the artist/s make any profit from the sale of the record itself. Smaller runs ensure the capital is returned to the contributors (artists and label). Thus the community funds the pressing process and the music is free.
